Bodybuilding exercises

There are many different exercises you can do to build your muscles, but when it comes to bodybuilding, there are a few exercises that stand out from the rest. There are three exercises that are far superior than any others. These bodybuilding exercises should be used by people who are serious about getting bigger and building muscle fast.

Exercise #1: The bench press

The bench press will help you build a thick and strong chest in no time at all if done correctly. This is by far the most popular exercise in history. You always hear people in the gym asking how much they can bench press.

Exercise #2: The deadlift

The deadlift tests the strength of a person. When performing the deadlift most of the muscles in the body are activated thus making this exercise so effective. The deadlift is essential when it comes to building a thick, strong back.

Exercise #3: The squat

The squat is a leg exercise. It helps make the leg muscles big and thick. Its one of the hardest exercises and requires a lot of effort to perform.

These three bodybuilding exercises above should be included every week in your workout routine. A general workout plan should consist of 3 to 5 workouts per week and should never last longer than an hour. You should only train a muscle once a week, this is very important, and a lot of people get this wrong and think the more you train a muscle, the faster it will grow. Your muscles only grow while they are resting. If you don’t rest them, they won’t grow.

Always remember to use correct form to get the full benefit of these bodybuilding exercises. Always educate yourself and make sure you know what you are doing in the gym. I have seen people seriously injure themselves because they are careless and don’t take the time to learn and make sure they are doing everything correctly. Take a look at our article section to read more about these exercises and more about bodybuilding in general. Educating yourself is the key to building a great physique.
